Okay the Lowbie Gold Making series is intended for those approaching level 40 (or past level 40 going on to 60) who are saving up on some gold in order to buy a new mount or to pimp out a twink by purchasing some really good equipment in the auction house.

In any case, the series is not a get-rich-quick scheme and offers you a more realistic way in which you can get your money. You will have to do some work, but YOU will get it done and you WILL have the Gold. Just choose among the thing mini-tips provided in this series:

Who%26#8217;s buying: Leatherworkers and Tailors
How much: 1 - 2g each piece
Area: Redridge Mountains (Alliance)
You can get this by killing Greater Tarantulas in Redridge Mountains (Alliance Area) near Alther%26#8217;s Mill. The following is a map courtesy of Wowhead. The pins indicate places where you can find these juicy tarantulas which drop some pretty expensive loot. Here%26#8217;s the kicker: the tarantulas are level 19+. Kill these things for an hour and you%26#8217;ll get close to 10g-15g. Not bad

Wool Cloth, Linen Cloth, and Light Feathers
Who%26#8217;s buying: Tailors, and other crafting professions
How much: Farm these for an hour and you%26#8217;ll get 10-12g easily
Area: Stonetalon Mountains
At the Stonetalon Mountains you can easily find Bloodfury Harpies which drop these items. Just continue on ripping them apart and collect your loot. The Harpies are around level 24 which makes them pretty easy to kill once you%26#8217;re 10 levels below 40.
