CM Nethaera made an announcement recently about the addition of three new forums to discuss the different class roles - tanking, healing, and damage dealing. It's an effort to make discussions regarding classes that may share the same role easier to do. While it's still a place for say a Protection paladin to start a discussion about Prot Pallies exclusively, it's also a place for him to discuss about tanking in general with the Feral Druids, Death Knights, and the Prot Warriors. This is a great idea especially for hybrids since they share many roles and it could be easier for say a Resto Druid to ask about general healing tips in a forum dedicated to healing rather than the Druid forum where you also have discussions about Balance and Feral.
What I hope is that these three new forums will remain in addition to the existing class forums because it wouldn't be a great idea for these three to replace them. Imagine how stuffed the damage dealing forum would be since every class can dps now. Visit the new forums now!
